Funded by HSBC as well as private angel investors, Beautysleuth operated in a multi-channel environment, selling via Amazon and eBay (top 500 account globally) as well as via its own branded web channel. The brand was acquired in early 2008 by Lookfantastic, who were later acquired by the Hut Group.

During school and University, I worked for Pizza Hut in various locations across Glasgow. Initially joining as a waitress I was promoted to Support Manager & Staff Trainer. I trained staff for the opening of three new stores and handling induction of new recruits across a number of premises.
