Felicia Woodside is a Bahamian creative influencer and STEM entrepreneur. As the CEO of Mangra Studios, a brand communications and content marketing firm, Felicia has made a name for herself in the industry by providing services such as web development, marketing, and media production to notable clients such as the Office of the Prime Minister (the Bahamas), Subway (Freeport), and Disney. In addition to Mangra Studios, Felicia also heads up two additional companies, Printable, a smart tech printing company, and AlliGo, a fintech payment gateway software.Felicia graduated from the College of the Bahamas (now the University of the Bahamas) in 2016 with an AA in Law and Criminal Justice, and prior to starting her entrepreneurial journey, she worked as a full-stack developer at an American-Bahamian trading firm. In April 2019, Felicia quit her job to start Mangra Studios, and since then, the company has grown to great heights.One of Felicia's proudest accomplishments is the launch of MangraTv, an entertainment video platform showcasing Bahamian culture and creativity through video production, which has reached over 279.7k people and had 414.4k video views as of February 2022. In January 2022, Felicia started a small business initiative called Better at Business, offering free masterclass webinars to entrepreneurs to help them improve their businesses, with their first event having over 300 attendees (live and post-event).Her work with the youth and the creative arts has been recognized by the Government, being awarded “Writer of the Year” by the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture, and nominated for a National Youth Award in October 2019. In April 2022, Felicia was awarded the Bahamas Development Bank (BDB)’s Orange Economy Micro Technology Grant, and in November 2022, she was accepted into Draper University’s Silicon Valley Hero Training Program (facilitated by the Kanoo Innovation Hub), which she completed in December 2022. Additionally, Felicia was nominated by the Bahamas Development Bank (BDB) for her work and impact on the entrepreneurial space to attend the UN Women and UN Women Caribbean’s Yemanja Collaborative: Leadership and Networking Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs in Jamaica.Felicia's ultimate dream is to become a traveling filmmaker, capturing the Bahamas' culture and history on film, and becoming a world-renowned female STEM influencer. With her track record of success and drive to make a positive impact, there is no doubt that she will achieve her goal.
