Developed and coordinated the annual training plan in alignment with the training needs analysis which requires liaising with external providers and Anglo personnel. Accountable for training document control, I also reviewed and developed site based training and assessment materials ensuring they were mapped to the relevant competency standard and were aligned to the Anglo training system. Coordinated contractor skills matrices and training plans for all site shutdowns which often had in excess of 150 contractors.

Within this role my responsibilities include the maintenance of Training Schedules and qualifications against employees and contractors, organising all logistical requirements for training courses and follow up training courses to ensure completion and accurate data capture.

Seconded to our Capcoal Surface Operations, German Creek mine to perform the 2012 Training Compliance Audit. This audit entailed a full historical audit of all training records ensuring that full compliance was made to the AAMC Mines Training Scheme, the Coal Mining Safety and Health ACT 1999 and the Australian Qualifications Framework.

- Designed and implemented a purchase order tracking procedure which accounted for all items being delivered into the company. This allowed me to reduce stock loss and waste by approximately $5,000 per month.- Negotiated all supplier accounts to ensure the best possible price was available to us.- Implemented stock take procedures so each year a correct financial report could be generated. This proved valuable and to be a massive time saver when external audits were performed.- Able to develop longstanding relationships with co-workers, suppliers and customers. - Developed Induction Packs for new employees- Main contact for WorkCover claims and rehabilitation. - Reception Duties- Organising company events for 100+ people including location scouting, menu planning and entertainment while staying under a strict budget.- Maintained office equipment and telephone systems-- Negotiated the phone contact to have all company mobile-to-mobile calls and company landline-to-mobiles calls to be free. This saved over $1,000 per month on the phone costs.
