Veterinary surgeon, with MSc in Biopharmaceuticals from Kings College London. Seven years of clinical experience as a veterinary surgeon focused on medicine, communication skills and developing a strong commercial awareness. In my study of biopharmaceuticals I developed an in depth understanding of pharmaceutical discovery, development and production. Whilst working in the United Arab Emirates, UK & Fiji in the health care and veterinary sector I successfully managed multiple stakeholders, developed scientific knowledge and skills in communications. Daily I demonstrated the ability to craft a story from scientific data that addresses the desired strategy, incorporating key messages to the diverse client base. I managed budgetary constraints and the importance of adhering to scopes of work, including liaising with clients when work deviates from budget.Currently I work within the International department at Dechra as veterinary Technical Manager for companion animal products (CAP). I work closely with our distribution partners across the globe answering technical inquiries and providing product training. I collaborate with the marketing teams to develop campaign instructions and ensure smooth product launches. I am proud to be part of a strong team at Dechra where the veterinary perspective is at the core of what we do.I aim to make the world a better place through my work, my passion for animal health, meaningful connections and communications. In my spare time I am a certified yoga instructor and I love learning something new every day!
