I am a Software Systems Engineer (BSc) and have a Master's degree (MSc) in research in cybersecurity. I have worked as a machine learning researcher in the Vision and Intelligent Systems Group (GVIS - http://gvis.unileon.es/, former VARP group) at the University of Leon, under the framework agreement between the University of Leon and INCIBE (Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute- https://www.incibe.es/en).In the GVIS group, I researched Artificial Intelligence and applied it to cybersecurity projects and products. On projects related to text summarization, text classification, and image classification. Some of these projects have developed specific software solutions that have been incorporated into practical tools used by INCIBE.I also worked as a Data Scientist at Analytic Lab Works from 2019 to 2020. I gained experience in developing real-time modules for IoT applications, applying Artificial Intelligence in projects such as sentiment analysis of tweets and facial recognition, and extracting information and visualizing it for decision making from large datasets using Big Data and GCP tools.
