Felipe Quintero has a Law Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Universidad de los Andes (Bogota, Colombia) and a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) from Harvard Law School. Admitted to the bar in Colombia and Spain. Felipe has more than 22 years of experience practicing in the areas of corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions working for leading international law firms. Recipient of the Corporate and M&A (high-end) Lawyer of the year granted by Legal 500 Award in 2024 and the “Young Jurist of the Year” award granted by the Garrigues Foundation and the University of Navarra in 2004. In 2008 and 2009 he worked at the London office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He is professor of Comparative Corporate Law at IE Law School. Board Member of Legis (2012-2018), Fundación Clínica SHAIO (October 2018 to date), Loto del Sur (2019 to 2022) and Fundación Granitos de Paz (May 2019 to date). Member of the Editorial Committee of Ambito Jurídico (2016 to date) and the Academic Council of Los Andes University Law School (2019 -2020).
