As a sophomore Computer Engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh, I am passionate about exploring the world of hardware and software development. I thrive on embracing new challenges and solving problems.One of my most rewarding experiences was a capstone project I completed with 3 other Pitt engineers in my first year where my team and I tackled the issue of prolonged sitting among college students. Through community outreach, expert interviews, and several design iterations starting with Littlebits working up to Arduino microcontrollers, we developed a functional prototype that we presented at the Swanson School of Engineering Design Expo 2024. This project was a great experience that felt like something close to what I would do once I get into industry, something I enjoyed every second of despite all of the stress.
