HPC System Administrator-------------------------------------Our have the responsibility of managing Marenostrum, the most powerful supercomputer in Spain and 13th of Top 500 on 2017. I am currently in charge of the design/maintenance of the new performance stack for Marenostrum4, which comprehends technologies like Icinga2, InfluxDB, Kibana, Grafana, SLURM, GlusterFS, Elasticsearch, etc. over an infraestructure of more than 3.500 servers.In the past I was in charge of plan, design and deploy a GPU based cluster for the center with a team of 5 people. I also managed another HPC cluster deployment for the national center of genomics (CNAG), with an important storage (>2PiB) migration and connected to Illumina sequencers.I participated in the design and implementation of a new PaaS infraestructure for RD-Connect platform, using DC/OS, Mesosphere, Docker, Foreman, Puppet, oVirt, GlusterFS, HDFS, Jenkins, Spark, ElasticSearch etc.Other technologies learnt are GPFS, Lustre, xCAT, Slurm, LSF, Ansible and Puppet.I specially like Slurm (schedmd) where I adapted contributed with some plugins and patched.Played around with OpenStack and OpenNebula.PRACE - Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe--------------------------------------------------------------------------I have the leadership of 3 operational work packages, providing track of new systems and upgrades, compute resources and managing a small team with european centers aiming to create service prototypes for improving the european infraestructure.System Administration-------------------------------------One of my big achievement in this area is the deployment of IBM Spectrum Protect 7.1 (formerly Tivoli TSM). I took the role of backup manager of the center with more than 2PiB for HPC resources and more than 150 user servers and machines. Currently also making design and implementation of a petascale new archiving system for CNAG.

Took part into a long term project on which we implemented a full stack of Oracle middleware products and backend software for our client, mainly based on Fusion Middleware 12c and Oracle Database 11gR2.In the part of Databases we included RAC and Rac One Node configurations with passive Dataguard, RMAN backups, and many different sized clusters and databases.I took part on the architectural design, implementation of products, apps. deployments, testing, database installation, configuration, procedure automation, etc. while we coordinated and worked together with other teams like RedHat, IBM, HP, Sothis, Capgemini, etc.
