I am an engineer working for SchedMD, the core company behind Slurm, one of the most used software for scheduling and managing resources in supercomputers in the field of HPC. As an engineer I feel very comfortable solving problems and understanding and joining all the pieces together. I am passionate about sea and offshore sailing, where I started in Class Mini 6.50 and successfully finished the MiniTransat 2021 being the first 'menorquin' to achieve this goal. The values of effort and persistence plus dealing with your own mind are intrinsic to me. I combined my sailing skills and technological skills to study and improve boat electronics and performance.I also like to make our society a best one, so I volunteered in Open Arms in several missions as rhib skipper, helping people in danger at sea which escapes from the wars and misery across the ocean. I collaborated with a local organization "Menorquins pel territori" to preserve our ecological values in Menorca. I am actually volunteering in my nautical club with great success in improving a lot of sports aspects.I like mechanics, sailing, technology, risk, adventure and complex/technical problems.
