• Developed regulatory transaction reporting under Article 26 of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID), coordinating with BaFin and Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM), and presented outcomes to c-level.
• Led a strategic project with custodian bank HSBC for compliance with US tax obligations (Section 871(m)), enabling 200,000+ US-based derivatives and boosting revenues through enhanced trading volume and issuer.
• Scoped the design, logic, and user flows of fractional and nominal securities trading, collaborating with engineering and legal teams to ensure compliance, reinforcing Trade Republic's mission to democratize the.
• Directed vendor selection, due diligence, and contract negotiations for an Approved Publication Arrangement (APA) to facilitate proprietary trading - a requirement for the development of fractional trading. Achieved.
