Radiation safety studies, with Monte Carlo simulations, using a laser-plasma based X-rays sources to be employed in a 3D tomography for cargo inspection.Development and characterization, using Monte Carlo simulations and laboratory tests, of compact systems focused on neutron/gamma detection with discrimination capabilities for supporting decommissioning and dismantling operations of nuclear facilities.Development and characterization of new 3D-printable (photocurable) siloxane-based scintillators (for charge particles) to be used for dosimetry applications in proton therapy treatments.
