My journey in Information Security began with the establishment and reinforcement of strong access management solutions, PAM and identity governance. Over the years, I have taken on progressively challenging roles, including Programme Manager and Cybersecurity Manager, each providing me with a deeper understanding of the complexities of cyber threats and the strategies to mitigate them.In my current role as Head of Cyber Protect and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Santander Germany , I lead a talented team of cybersecurity professionals. Together, we develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, cyber policies ans controls, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with external regulation and industry standards. My focus is on fostering a proactive risk culture, making security understandable for others, collaborating with cross-functional teams in Business and IT areas to protect our organization's critical information assets.
