Principal developer for a research project aiming to invent new Mathematics for generative and automatic statistical learning. Requested as a consultant to assist with novel disease simulators for the national COVID-19 RAMP project. Co-developed a simulation engine published in the Journal of Open-Source Software with potential impacts on public policy and areas of epidemiology. Applications included several research projects on calibrating COVID-19 and abstract disease models, in addition to multiple installations across platform-agnostic HPC clusters for national decision policies. I also provide services for partner universities and act as an associate lecturer for modules on software development and computational mathematics.

Developed high-performance distributed simulators to deliver world-leading human-in-the-loop (HITL) research. Contributed significantly to projects in defence from inception though to experiment trials and publications. Lead development of a key software project whilst coordinating between academic, industrial, supplier and stakeholder parties. Software featured in a large number of influential HITL publications and for UX/UI prototyping projects. Was also invited to present the work at a prestigious international conference to defence technology, security and military experts. Typical project specifications comprised multi-physics servers (including RADAR, spatial tracking and dynamical control suites), display / IO clients, and firmware for precision network timing and VOIP channel management. Also built libraries to automate simulator network management and provide secure messaging protocols. Role also included supporting other researchers via replacing legacy analysis tools with modern equivalents (typically eliminating Java / SPSS dependencies).

Hired to lead a project to improve the supply chain management for an independent luxury food and beverage retailer. The original paper-based and tacit business was imported into a modern DBMS (LAMP-like full stack system). The data set was used to develop a learning model which forecasted seasonal variances in supplier prices and lead times. The back-testing was automated, selecting new data into the learning module. Ultimately, the project reduced costs and provided decision support for procurement staff.
