- Making catenary designs from norms & specifications and within various project environments (towers, substations, ground set ups, near objects and/or infrastructures) ;- Construct 3D models in AutoCAD for checking various internal and external flashover distances as part of the design process;- Checking clearances with PLS CADD models;- Implement catenary designs into tower designs in collaboration with mechanical engineer; - Making basic and Detailed Design reports from various input sources/disciplines;- Resumé of technical aspects of Transmission Line Projects from feasibility study till implementation within the Basic Design, Detailed Design and other reports to be written within transmission line projects; - Putting out new tenders for transmission line materials including set up of technical specification document (Dutch: “bestek”); - Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for conductors, insulators & other catenary parts;- Contact point for technical support (in- and external contact);- Coordination of other involved disciplines such as energy consultants, (sub)contractors, permit experts and draftmen;- Responsible for security, health and environment plans (In Dutch: VGM Plannen);- Quality checks of drawings and reports from other engineers and draftmen;

- Cost calculations for Tenders concerning upgrades of transmission Lines and substations (EU241, 201)- Plans of Action for all outdoor activities (linesmen and machinery) within boundaries of specific project environment for Tenders- Checking feasibility of proposed plans & planning; search for alternatives using AutoCAD 2 & 3D for modeling & measuring and sparring with Engineers and Linesmen; - Check of alternatives from technical and planning (VNB) point of view using various tools;- Visualization of plans in schematics, drawings and sequence plans using 2D and 3D;- Giving input to risk manager, technical manager & project planner from prepared plan of Action and calculated resources for execution phase. - Writing VGM plans and Risk Inventarisations for execution phases of various transmission line projects;- Link between office and Linesmen on working Sites;- Contact with suppliers, subcontractors and client;- Tendering orders for line materials (conductors, clamps, …)- Review of invoices of subcontractors and suppliers;- Step-up to fix last minute bumps that emerge during or just before starting a project on site;- Other administrative tasks (collecting all necessary documentary, technical drawings, plans and approvals, orders for hire of heavy machinery or equipment like cranes and mobile working platforms) - Preparing shipments of materials, machinery and documentation to be used on site.
