As a student helper, I had various roles. One of which was for me to assist in the running of the Studio. This meant that I had to assist in making sure that students who used the Studio understood the rules and regulations and also to assist them in the use of our facilities. Facilities such as the recording suite, allowed me to learn new skills which i had showcased. One of which was a presentation and recording done for the Polytechnic Quality Assurance Framework. In the presentation, I had presented how an audio recording was done and the facilities which were used by the industry. Using software such as Pro Tools and hardwares such as the Avid C24, an industrial recording tool to do an audio recording, I was able to reflect my competencies of recording, synchronizing, mixing, producing music and voices.

As a Temporary Staff, with Studio27, I worked with different groups of learners and educators. As a general staff, I assisted in primary roles of maintaining and upkeeping the equipment as well as the learning spaces made available for students. I not only assisted in the daily running of the learning space, I also assisted in the conducts of programmes such as Media Literacy, as well as Media for Educators. As a musician with prior background, I was also invited to teach educators and staff of Ngee Ann Polytechnic basic musical knowledge in a band setting. One of the pinnacle for me in my 3 months with Studio27, was in assisting the filming crew for the graduants farewell gift. I was given the rare opportunity to interview and direct one of the keynote speakers. I was also part of the media coverage crew during the Graduation Ceremony.

I was a Student teacher in the Early Childhood industry during my term of study at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. While I was pursuing my diploma, I was a practicum student in 3 different schools. In my first year, I was attached to Children's Campus. During the time, I had observed and assisted the main teacher in the daily activities. I had also interacted well with the children and parents. Thus, earning the respect and also the trust of parents, being the only male teacher in the centre. In my second year, I was attached to PCF Senja-Cashew. Whilst there, I prepared lessons and also learning corners catered to children of different abilities. I crafted Mathematics materials and also carried out an integrated lesson with the children. One of the session which i carried out, i taught the children how to make their own children-friendly play dough. After the session, I had parents and students who had come to ask for the recipes as well. I was also involved in assisting the teachers in the planning of the annual graduation ceremony. I was tasked to assist in planning the set up and the creative aspect of the show. In my final year, I was attached to LiCdo Schoolhouse. During the period, I carried out various activities. Beyond the tasks we had to carry out, I had also assisted the children in their free play lesson. During which, I had crafted a short play activity which encompassed gross motor skill as well as hand-eye coordination. Before concluding my practicum, I had a task of carrying out a Parents workshop. I worked with my team and hosted 12 parents and addressed to them on the importance of understanding a healthy meal and also taught them how to make a healthier sandwich.

As a Pioneer Generation Ambassador, I was the pioneer batch of ambassadors tasked to share the Pioneer Generation Package to Pioneer Generation citizens. This gave me the opportunity to interact with a variety of elderly residents of Chua Chu Kang. I was also tasked to inform them of the various helplines which they can contact and also to connect them with the needed ministry for their benefit and health resources. Through this involvement, I was able to hone my communication skill and i learnt how to interact with the different Pioneer Generations in gratitude for their service to Singapore's growth and development.

As an Audio Video Technician, I held responsibilities in the setting up of equipment and the management of pieces of equipment during events. When it comes to an event, as the Audio Video Technician, I ensure that instruments under my care such as speakers, monitors, projectors and live camera feed projection are in a smooth running order. One such event which I was a part of was the Freshmen Dance Party at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I was working in a team of 5 of whom we were tasked to set up a dance party sound and visuals for the event. This included setting up of speakers, rave lights, monitors, subwoofers and 2 stage areas. As a team player, and a team leader, I led my group and we pulled off a successful audio and visual experience for the students
