While at Risk Theory I have built upon the extensive list of skills and experience I gained at Nationstar and I am responsible for a wide array of tasks, processes, and roles including Analysis, SQL Reporting, Accounting, Web Programming, Database Development, Phone System Management, Technical Analysis, Systems Design, Data Modelling, Data Mining, and much more. With each task and project I work on, I am required to take on more of a Project Manager role to gather business needs from stakeholders at all levels of the company and provide continuous updates to all parties to ensure that current development is meeting their needs and that the requirements or scope have not shifted in the interim.That's not to say that while I am gaining experience in a project management role that I have let my technical skills fall by the wayside. I have learned and developed the Salesforce platform with custom objects, triggers, workflows, APEX code, and user security settings. I have further developed and refined my use of the SQL language by helping to install and setup a centralized SQL database, writing automated ETL stored procedures and stored functions, and developing complex views that are necessary for downstream reporting. My VBA, Access, and Excel skills are better than ever and are continually utilized for reporting, and general development tasks.

From the outside, a Call Center Analyst may seem like a position that primarily handles call metrics and basic call center management. At Nationstar however the position is so much more. The Call Center Operations team is primarily responsible for developing, running, maintaining, and reporting on the entire collections call center outbound dialing computer system. In my time there I taught myself advanced SQL, Access, and Excel skills to not only perform my job function but to excel at them. I independently sought out and corrected issues and flaws that had been ignored or unnoticed for years and greatly increased the efficiency of not only the Call Center Operations team but the entire collection call center. I also worked with third party vendors and consultants to streamline routine tasks and improve ETL workflows.
