• Launched new organic brand across six different varieties of vegetables; accountable for all packaging, communication, innovation, sourcing, growing partner negotiation, and marketing mix; developed 5-Yr roadmap to $100M annual Gross Sales • My last year of direct P&L responsibility had us on-track for our 5-year goal, with overall Gross Sales growth vs prior year of 25.2%, driven 62% by new distribution, and 38% through increased dollar velocities• Collaborated with Sales to build a story for retail buyers to view organics not as a necessary burden, but as a long-term opportunity to grow category dollars through proper assortment, merchandising, pricing, and vertically integrated relationships• From 2018 to 2020, grew our leading Brighthouse Organics® small tomato SKU to become the #1 organic small tomato at Walmart in dollar sales • Led industry coalition to legitimize container growing of organics with USDA, including testimony to both House and Senate Agriculture Committees, resulting in decision to allow container growing methods officially and explicitly• Identified error in Consumer Promotions planning; developed new coupon process and trained team, reducing coupon liability by over $25M, aligning promotions with focus “drive” products, and minimizing future subsidized base sales• During my first month, I uncovered an error that had resulted in an 8X over-planting of one crop variety; I quickly expanded the plan from a test market to full regional launch to ensure that 100% of product grown would be sold
