Howdy! I’m Fernanda, a senior aerospace engineering student at Texas A&M University with a love for rocketry & space, hands-on projects, and organizing just about anything!Currently, I serve as TAMU Sounding Rocketry Team (SRT) Shop Supervisor at the RELLIS Aerospace Hangar, where I manage daily operations, oversee equipment and safety protocols, and support various rocketry projects. I also work as a Student Worker with TAMU TEES EDGE, assisting with program coordination and professional development initiatives in continuing education.Additionally, I was the SHPEtinas Representative for the TAMU Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, where I advocated for the inclusion of Latinas in engineering, led community outreach, and created opportunities for Latina engineers.Previously, I was the Dynamics Manager for the Texas A&M Sounding Rocketry Team, where I led the design of the aerodynamic profile and trajectory for our launch vehicle, conducting in-depth modeling and analysis of aerodynamic properties, stability, and flight performance.I’m always eager to take on new challenges and continue growing in the aerospace industry. Feel free to connect with me or reach out via email!
