Working on a 5" diameter solid rocket for the 2025 Intercollegiate Rocketry Engineering Competition designed to take a 3U CubeSat payload to 30,000 ft on 21 kN-s of impulse.Characterized shocks and wave drag with Star-CCM+ using approximations from RASAero II for a new varying nose cone tip design.Verified heating and pressures on nose cone tip and fin leading edges in Star-CCM+ during maximum dynamic pressure at Mach 1.9+.Designed exterior nose cone, fin, body, and boattail maintaining a 9% static stability margin in OpenRocket and RASAero II to reach 30,000 ft apogee.

Managed a $25,000+ budget ensuring procurement of materials for a hybrid rocket engine and solid motor competition rocket in the Intercollegiate Rocketry Engineering Competition. Developed onboard live video footage for the team’s competition rocket launching to 10,458 feet.Fabricated tubes using fiberglass and carbon fiber materials for the airframe of the team’s competition rocket.Maintained social media updates and email newsletters for a following of 3,000+ people.
