Senior Logistics Associate
Current• Planning and coordinating with freight forwarders, procurement team, suppliers, warehouse coordinators and storekeepers, the goods receipts into UNICEF warehouses of local and offshore supplies.• Transport arrangement and monitoring for direct delivery of local procurement goods from supplier to implementing partners.• Supporting programme sections on distribution of prepositioned supplies, including release orders review, transport arrangement and scheduling.• Leading the warehouse coordinators and storekeepers on overall inventory management including quality and quantity check; goods receipt; picking and dispatching.• Advising the implementing partners on expected time of arrival (ETA) of prepositioned and direct delivery supplies.• Assisting supply and Logistics Unit on forecasting of key logistics services demand: storage and transport.• Participating in procurement processes for logistics services: sourcing and performance evaluation.• Prepare the country office Supply and Logistics dashboards: local and offshore procurement transactions; Inventory report and Contracts monitoring.• Reporting on country office supply and logistics key performance indicators.
