I have been a military officer in the Brazilian Army since the year 2000, where I have held various technical and leadership positions at different levels, developing technical knowledge and management and adaptability attributes to overcome challenges. After military training in Communications, I specialized in Information Technology, serving at the 51st Telematic Center from 2010 to 2011, supporting the metropolitan and corporate data networks of the Army in the states of Bahia and Sergipe. I was an instructor at the Army Communications School from 2013 to 2015, teaching software development and computer networks courses. In 2019-2020, I served at the 4th Area Telematic Center in Manaus-AM, supporting the Military Organizations of Amazonas, Acre, Roraima, and Rondônia. During this period, I served as the Operations Chief of the Amazon Connected Project (PAC), aiming to establish a high-speed, secure, and reliable data network infrastructure through the deployment of fiber optic cables along the beds of the Negro and Solimões rivers, having already installed over 1800 km of subfluvial cables. The PAC has 11 sites installed in the interior of the Amazon, consisting of a data center container with DWDM equipment for closing long-distance links. The sites have different complexities of logistical difficulties, both for local access and remote management, making the installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructures a challenge of engineering and management. I also acted in parallel, in this period, as the head of the projects sector and the management of the other telematic operations of the army in the Amazon. In 2021-2022, I pursued a master's degree in computation at the Airforce Technological Institute (ITA), where I developed an algorithm for identifying attacks in vehicle data networks. During the course, I deepened my knowledge of various types of machine learning, including deep learning models such as neural networks. In the scope of my work, I had 3 scientific articles approved and presented, standing out the one presented at the Brazilian Symposium on Information Security and Computer Systems (SBSEG) and the one presented at the IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), the world's largest computer networks conference. Since 2023, I have been reassigned as the Operations Chief of the PAC, where we continue to expand, operate, and maintain the infrastructure. My professional goal is to improve in the development of solutions and deepen my experience in teamwork and individual programming skills.
