Fernando Ponce is a Salvadoran-American Travel Filmmaker and Photographer based in Los Angeles and Worcester working in documentary films and lifestyle content creation.​His passion for storytelling comes from growing up listening to his parent's stories, who courageously fled the Salvadoran civil war and extreme poverty in search of new hope. He is most interested in telling stories of small communities that are impacted by our continuously changing society and the game-changers who are at the forefront of making a positive impact in these communities. ​With work spanning over three years, he has worked collaboratively with filmmakers in the creation of an ongoing docu-series focused on the long-term cultural and operational transformation of a major client. As part of a crew of three, Fernando worked on a team where all hands were in from pre through post-production. During his free time, he has been proactive in his community by co-founding the artist collective SIDENOTE PROGRAMS, which curates collaborative environments for overlooked artists. The interdependent work that Fernando has directed and shot with different medium artists has expanded his vision for what is possible in his community and lifestyle films while continuously giving it a hint of Central American sabor.
