Identified and managed the implementation of cost reduction initiatives such as the renegotiations with major suppliers and the shut down of an operational branch. At the end, the company’s EBITDA improved by 61% and the company could be sold by its owners• Managed an energy start-up cash flow and was the financial focus point for all discussions regarding the company’s strategic decisions. Active participation in the M&A discussions with potential buyers and lawyers. The company would be the second largest private energy supplier in Brazil and it was passing through a financial restructuring. At the end, the company restarted the construction of its main cluster (1.1 GW) and sold one project for $20m• Developed the company’s financial model for a debt restructuring in a Brazilian textile company. The company was suffering from financial problems and needed to restructure its debt and attract new investors in order to continue in business. The financial model also gave insights about how to improve the company’s operations

The analysis results helped the company get insight into its most/least profitable clients and develop a pricing strategy for the regulatory framework changes that the company was facing• Managed the sourcing program for two spending categories in one of the largest cosmetics company in Brazil. The categories sourced were employee transportation and freight. The project’s findings allowed the company to achieved 11% savings in comparison with the cost baseline with no reduction in the level of service

• Conducted a market analysis and identified potential acquisition targets for a fertilizer company that was interested in entering the Brazilian market, either through a green field project or through an acquisition• Developed the valuation model and the bid strategy for a financial company in Brazil interested in participating in a competitive bid. The new business would fundamentally transform the company and could increase its value in $50m• Implemented a new pricing methodology for a Chilean chemical company. The methodology was based on the fact that the company’s clients didn’t have a cheaper alternative available. The project’s findings allowed the company to raise prices without losing sales
