My name is Stephen Ferrer and I believe that hard work is the key to success. I am the co-founder of “Movement Society,” a Los Angeles-based private training facility, as well as a Certified Performance Trainer and a U.S. Army Officer. I have over 10 years of experience in management, operations, and leadership from the years of building Movement Society and serving as an Officer in the US Army. Movement Society is a 3,000 square foot private facility that host Physical Therapist, Personal Trainers, Group Fitness, and educational seminars. We built this facility from absolutely nothing. Utilizing every penny of profit to create one of the most aesthetic, functional, and clean spaces in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. I served as the 304th Sustainment Brigade Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Company Commander for 28 months. Managing and responsible for 250 soldiers and $20 million dollars worth of Army Equipment. Successfully deploying the unit to Poland in support of US Army Europe operations. My journey from being a coach, to business owner, to leader has been a rocky and difficult one. Going through instances of hardship and success. Teaching me lesson after lesson but building myself into a resilient, resourceful, and adaptable leader. I hold a B.S. in Kinesiology and Applied Fitness, CSCS, USAW, LISPC, Kettlebell advanced training, and Tripper Point therapy. I have pursued educational courses through Yale; delving into the world of financial markets, accounting, and business administration. I have also attended several courses through the US Army to include Army Commanders Course and pursing a Lean Six Sigma Certificate.
