Hello there 👋,I am a dedicated Software Engineer with extensive experience leading projects and teaching at Africa to Silicon Valley (backed by Google twice!). 🌍 Growing up in a small village in Ethiopia, I’ve overcome numerous challenges, and I am driven by a passion to empower others and create real-world solutions through technology. 💡Currently, I am leading Project Bazar, an AI-powered platform that connects users to trusted services and products, and volunteering as a Product Manager at Akil. Previously, as Head of Education at Africa to Silicon Valley, I worked in both Ethiopia and Ghana, gaining valuable cross-national experience. During this time, I helped one of my students secure an internship at Goldman Sachs. 🎓✨I specialize in building chatbots 🤖, improving backend systems, and leveraging the OpenAI API to solve complex problems. My tech stack includes Node.js, MongoDB, Flutter, Next.js, Python, JavaScript, Django, and more. I’ve also worked with CI/CD, REST APIs, and relational/non-relational databases. Additionally, I’ve used Flutter for mobile development 📱 and Next.js for web applications 🌐.My journey from rural Ethiopia to the tech world has fueled my mission to apply my skills in impactful ways, and I am excited to bring this drive and expertise to new opportunities. 🚀
