Responsible for the function of an expert team of 13 flight safety inspectors for all facets of technical repair and maintenance of the McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II Fighter Jet, including structures, electrics, hydraulics, rescue systems, radar, engines, etc. Responsible for utilizing, maintaining and improving the Quality Management System of the Maintenance Depot 62, employing a total of 300 soldiers and civilians.

Head of the Aeronautical Workshops, directly supervising 110 soldiers and civilian employees on a Maintenance Depot Level for the F-4F Phantom.

Technical Officer for the F-4F Phantom in the Luftwaffen Fighter Wing 74 „Mölders“ for first- and second line maintenance at the home base and in a multitude of international detachments and exercises, such as Goose Bay and Cold Lake (Canada), Decimomannu (Sardegnia), and Oerland (Norway) having approx. 50 technical soldiers under my direct command.
