About Francois Pienaar

In 2009 I completed my first cycling race, a 40km dirt ride that almost broke me and took four and a half hours. A little less than 10yrs later, I'm a multiple Absa Cape Epic finisher and very accomplished amateur mountain biker. My career in IT has been a similar ride. I started off my career as a developer and soaked up a rich tapestry of experiences over almost two decades. The combination of all these elements have placed me in a business leadership position that gives me freedom to express my creativity, give input into strategy and help drive the organisation forward via enterprise business development.My ability to have business and technical conversations with C-Level executives come from my first hand experiences in the solution architecture and business value creation fields. Nothing gives me more pleasure than assisting organisations to innovate and transform their existing business.
