Working with NBO and Marketing on various projects involving:- the building of contemporary corpora of data- the generation of data and data visualisations to inform decisions at a branch and board level- the development of business cases for acquisitions and new markets- the derivation and validation of key market metrics for ASX and shareholder presentation- the innovation, management, and maintenance of core data setsIn this role I helped the business transition from anecdotal to data-driven market decisions, expanded market and customer understanding by development of demographic analyses, operated and generated actionable insights from the customer feedback and NPS programmes, and provided analysis behind the development of new markets.Achievements- Led the data behind the successful company launch into the pet funeral market.- Reformed customer survey programme, resulting in 10-12 point gain in NPS over 12 months.- Successfully transitioned company to new definition of market share.- Identified four key markets for expansion.

This was a dynamic and varied role that included:- The development and management of a unique online workplace.- The day-to-day management of a distributed team of up to 350 educators in both live and asynchronous service environments.- Short- and long-term resource management and allocation on a sizable budget.- Strategic planning and systems innovation as part of a partnership with an analyst.- Working closely with management and other departments, especially client services and the technical development team, to preempt and resolve issues, and identify opportunities for value improvements.

This role involved the creation and curation of educational content and included:- The coordination of curriculum experts in the creation of educational content for a market product.- Rapidly acquiring a working understanding of the current syllabus situation in Australia and making content decisions based on that understanding.- The generation of some content within my expertise, and the generation and management of image assets to support questions.- Assembling, training, and managing a small quality team, including an outsourced quality solution.- Managing mark-up of web-ready content alongside the development of the web interface.

This role applied academic expertise in the creation and maintenance of electronic lexicons for speech technology and included:- Linguistic analysis of languages, the generation of sufficient requirements to satisfy the applicationto which the lexicon would be put, in liaison with the project manager or, often, directly the client.- Assembly of a team of native speakers, the generation of training materials, and the training of the team in the production of linguistic information.- Management of the team of native speakers, including quality management, in unique work.- The management of considerable holdings of data, and the synthesis of existing holdings and identification of gaps, and the incorporation of new projects into our holdings.
