Telemetry Controller
CurrentThe primary focus of the role is to provide a central control operations service for NI Water. This is on a 24/7 basis, with responsibility for the proactive use of key systems to analyse data and develop effective solutions enabling preventative actions to minimise impact on customers and assets.Responsibilities:- Proactively monitor, interpret and analyse data from telemetry systems, allowing early recognition of real time events, enabling quick responses and resolutions.-Mitigate impacts to customers, production lines, and regulatory targets by managing issues at source, taking ownership and control of issues through to closure, and updating colleagues and systems as required. -Achieving, devising and taking ownership of individual and team KPIs, targets and objectives.-Contribute to Performance Hub meetings by preparing, analysing and presenting data and recommending corrective actions and improvements to contribute to the overall performance of the team. -Evaluate, analyse and accurately manage process documents and information on systems, supporting the integrity of data, driving operational efficiency, and improving the quality of management information. -Monitor and safeguard the Health and Safety of colleagues, contractors, and assets through a Lone Worker system. -Work collaboratively with the Customer Services Centre, Production Lines and NIW Alpha colleagues by communicating effectively to optimise service delivery for NI Water’s customers. -Authorise and control NI Water staff and contractors working on the company’s assets. -Remotely execute changes in the operating parameters of assets and processes to resolve issues or adapt to changing requirements. -Represent NI Water as a first point of contact for NIEA, DWI, NIE and the emergency services.-Prepare and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports, providing managers and colleagues with pertinent information and recommendations, influencing and facilitating quick decision-making.
