The primary purpose of this job was to perform a farm migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. Responsibilities included:Administration:• Management of 2010 and 2013 farms:• Patching, updating, and testing software on all farms.• Installation and configuration of SharePoint 2013.• Management of the SQL databases associated with the SharePoint farm.• Documentation of the SharePoint topology, web services configuration.• Deployment of custom solutions to the farm.Development:• Test and update websites to ensure proper migration from 2010 to 2013.• Implemented jQuery for the majority of the sites to provide a standard interface navigation and branding while maintaining fidelity with the SharePoint master page and its architecture.• Create departmental solutions to improve back office efficiency.• Provide training and support for all 1500 users of the intranet sites.

The scope and purpose of this job was to provide user training on out-of-the-box capabilities of SharePoint and MS Office Collaboration suites to include the use of SharePoint sites, workflows and lists with Outlook and other elements of the MS Office suite, train employees on the capabilities through lunch and learn sessions and training workshops. My role was to provide SharePoint development and site administration work for the Program Management Office (PMO) to facilitate the Basel II initiative. The most notable achievement was the designing and implementation of a custom InfoPath form that replaced a word document status report. This new InfoPath Status report provided real-time information to the PMO on the status of the different project teams. The status report also integrated, through data connections, open issues, upstream reports, and downstream reports in one interface. Productivity increased by 30% and provided management a more accurate account of the activities within the business unit. User activity, on SharePoint, increased 200% after the implementation of the InfoPath forms and the re-structuring of the site navigation. As a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator:• Analyze site collection usage.• Create additional project sites as the business unit grew.• Provide analysis of site growth on a quarterly basis and determine if additional storage space will be needed.• Liaison with Citizen’s IT SharePoint administrators for the deployment of SharePoint 2007 features for the site collection.• Re-structure and eventually manage all permissions within the site collections.• Create, manage and archive/delete SharePoint sites within the site collections.As a SharePoint Developer:• Gather business requirements with internal customers to develop SharePoint solutions within the sites.• Design, develop, and implement custom InfoPath forms for the collaboration amongst the different project teams and the PMO. • Re-structure the navigation within the site collection to allow users to navigate from the top level site to their site within 2-3 mouse clicks.

My role was to provide front-end solutions for multiple clients across DLA utilizing out-of-the-box SharePoint technology.• Designing custom workflows in SharePoint Designer, creating custom lists and custom web-pages.• Recent accomplishments include the development of an enterprise wide task tracker which involves multiple workflows; email alerts and quantifiable metrics in a reportable format.• I’ve contributed to the improvement and functionality within a SharePoint environment by identifying functional differences between office 2007 / 2010 and SharePoint 2007 / 2010.• I work closely with the project management office to identify and properly integrate SharePoint solutions with a government business process to meet the standards and guidelines of DoD.• I’ve documented all projects in technical specifications and in Job-Aids.

• Designed, developed and implemented a centralized detainee master database, using SharePoint, for the Joint Interrogation and Debriefing Center (JIDC) and Strategic Debriefing Center (SDC); that has provided visibility for battle space owners, intelligence organizations, and fusion analysis cells in the Afghanistan Theatre as well as in the U.S.• The system is used by personnel involved in the day-to-day conduct of Interrogation Operations, management and data mining the information derived from both exploitation and statistical tribal, provincial and village atmospherics.• It is constantly being updated with new products and services tailored to multiple organizations within detainee operations in theatre and in the U.S.• The most notable feature within the database is the tracking mechanism that uses the collaboration of multiple interrogation teams, analyst and senior leadership to populate, update and disseminate information on a central tracker through the use of web-page parts in real time.• The metrics generated from the tracker are used in battle update briefs and assessments.• These metrics have allowed analysts in the U.S. to map tribal and ethnic information in Afghanistan.
