I began my journey with Walgreens as a part-time cashier, then became full-time. I became Inventory Specialist in December of 2021 and currently, I am a full time pharmacy technician. As a cashier I have: assisted customers in the store with selections, performed cashiering duties, unloading of trucks, stocking of shelves, complete curbside duties, and other duties as required by management. As the Inventory Specialist, I was required to keep various retail and pharmacy counts up to date, complete stock recalls, and lead the shifts as a manager as needed. Currently, as a pharmacy technician, I assist customers at the front counter and at the drive thru, process insurance claims, fill prescriptions, administer and process COVID19 tests, pull and restock of unclaimed medications, and other duties as required by the pharmacist/pharmacy manager.

My responsibilities included assisting drivers with general load information, planning and assigning shipments, interpreting and explaining driver metrics and discussing driver compensation, and benefits, assisting in driver coaching of drivers to increase efficiency and guide them towards bonus and performance standards. I was also responsible for scheduling DOT physicals and drug screenings, updating medical card information with drivers' states of residence, and scheduling training modules for every driver in the West Memphis solo division.
