Initial Responsibilities:• Led the design and development of heat pumps for both indoor and outdoor use, focusing on resource efficiency and optimization for supply chain and manufacturing processes.• Developed sheet metal and plastic parts using Siemens NX, ensuring design compliance with technical requirements.• Conducted FEA simulations using Ansys to validate and optimize mechanical solutions.• Participated in product engineering methodologies such as DFMA, FMEA, and FAM, contributing to design for manufacturability and risk mitigation.• Managed CAD assemblies and supervised prototype builds to identify potential production challenges early in the development process.

My role was to design and develop new aluminium bicycle rims, validating simulations (strength, stress, fatigue, life-cycle) with real in-site testing. •Development of workbenches for the manufacturing line and for quality control.•Design and development of bicycle rims and wheels with CAD softwares (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD) in the R&D department.•Providing FEA Simulations (SolidWorks Simulation, Ansys, Nastran and Abaqus) to validate solutions and comparisons with real testing.•Development and design of jigs to support production’s needs.

Research on the fundamentals of carbon capture and storage. The research focused in understanding the phenomena behind the CO2 cryogenic process and flue gas dehydration, helping pave the way to develop a sustainable dehumidifier:•Development of a test rig (CAD model and physical model) after understanding air-based systems for simplification and safety purposes.•Instrumentation and commissioning of the test rig, making use of various types of sensors, powering the whole system and its connection to a working station to further gather results.
