I define myself as a #knowledge_architect. After graduating in Architecture, my working life quickly veered towards the world of #ICT and #big data, in particular #GIS and, later, #speechRecognition, accompanying the digital translation of various organizations. I have been collaborating for more than a decade with a "multinational company in miniature" that deals with #ArtificialIntelligence and develops robots (understood as software agents) that read and understand textual content, like you do right now. Basically, for some colleagues at #FuturesStudies (I am a member of AFI #FuturistiItaliani) with whom I share a passion for #systemicthinking and #futureDesign, I am helping to create the robot that will that will take my job and position. I don't think this will happen, because in over 30 research projects (#HorinzonEurope,#H2020, #PON, #PNRR,...) and a few dozen applications in corporate and Public Administration contexts that I have directly written and managed, I have consolidated the idea that some peculiarities of human intelligence are and will remain unique. Of course, I have also measured how Artificial Intelligence #AI can be useful and extraordinary in certain contexts and functionalities, increasing human potential in unimaginable ways. Finding the right mix of technology, human effort, transparency (#explainableAI) and values (ethical and ROI) is a skill that you are not being taught, but you acquire through practice. The luck of collaborating with a company that (the only one in Italy and Europe) competes globally with the 'usual' #big-Tech of Natural Language Processing #NLP, has given me a vast experience and an exclusive design capacity on different areas of #innovation, @emergingTech, #cognitiveAI and #compositiveAI, relating with national and international leaders in their field.
