Amateur & Professional Photographic Exhibition - blurring the line between amateur & professional photographers.Show, Discover, NetworkThis is a chance for photographers to showcase a selection of their works, discover other visual inspirations, and network with like minded people.We had recently launched our first installation of the week-long event between 13-21 April 2013. Our launch night showcased 100 images from 20 Nottingham photographers out of 50+ submissions totalling 500 images. We entertained over 300 visitors (in a 150 capacity building) to the sounds of 6 chosen Nottingham artists, such as: Harleighblu, Red Bear, Injured Birds, Falling of Maps, 94 Gunships, and Great British Weather.The crowds continued through the week as word got out and received close to 150 visitors, and coverage in Nottingham's Evening Post and Leftlion. And even a cheeky tweet from Vicky McClure and Shane Meadows.

This was a company made up of a collaborative effort of Raj Pathak and Kenneth Colom. Together over two years, the duo had over seen and also part-taken in the development and production of their two short films: 'Le Boxeur' and 'Konflooent'. Following this, the two films were premiered at Cinespace on Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles to an over capacity crowd of 450 people (Capacity being 350). Konflooent then went on to screen at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 and made it to the semi finals of the Hayden Online Film Festival 2008 and also making an appearance at the 1st Los Angeles Downtown Film Festival 2008.

Contracted as the above titles to produce an educational resource package/DVD for the Midlands Educational Board, Nottinghamshire Police and the surrounding Victims Support Groups. The aim of the DVD was to raise awareness of the Guns, Drugs, Knives and racial violance in the Midlands and UK.The film was then premiered and screened to school officials in November 2007 at The Broadway Cinema, Nottingham.After receiving strong positive feedback from the premiere, the film was then trialled across the midlands in schools and has now progressed to be in the hannds of the Home Office who are currently deciding whether to roll it out into schools nationally as part of the curriculum.www.piecebypiece.org.uk
