I originally studied Business and Politics at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, but went back to college after completing my BA in order to study TV Production and to pursue a career in media.I graduated from Glasgow Metropolitan College in July 2009 with an HND in TV Production, having won 'Best Drama' for my final year project at our end of year college awards ceremony.I moved to London in December 2009 to pursue the best possible career opportunities, and in the ensuing 13 years I've worked with every type of client imaginable, from local charities all the way up to global brands like Nike and Adidas.Although most of my work has been in the field of editing, I have often had to serve in multiple additional roles for clients including operating as director, writer, creative director, producer, camera operator and even voice-over artist on numerous occasions.I fervently believe in giving your all to every project, no matter the scale. Audiences are increasingly discerning in what they watch and engage with, so if I am not excited and engaged with any project I'm working on why on earth would the audience be? Whether it's a feature length documentary or a 30s showreel, I relentlessly seek to make the content as clever, well-researched, engaging, and innovative as I can.Even after all this time, I find the creative process endlessly stimulating and fascinating. I love working as part of a team that are all passionate about delivering the best quality of work possible. When we are individually brilliant, we are collectively unstoppable.
