Led the product management and product marketing team during Compellent’s high growth phase, from pre-revenue through initial IPO. During this period, the company went from VC funding through $155 million in annual revenues, and eventual acquisition by Dell. Compellent was the fastest growing data storage company in the world 4 years in a row. In Compellent’s startup phase, independent creative thinking while supporting the overall team effort was critical. In my role, I did whatever was required to launch both our products and the company including creation of all initial data sheets, creating the product configurator, conceiving and leading customer councils, and hundreds of press, media, and analyst briefings.To tell the Compellent story, I both created the delivered content to executive and technical audiences at Dell Enterprise Forums and other events around the world in Asia, Europe, and USA.
