Postmark is an email infrastructure product with a decade-long history of helping businesses send emails quickly and reliably—but it only got its first dedicated marketing team in 2021. As the resident Brand and Editorial Lead, I owned the strategy, planning, production, and distribution of brand and content campaigns that increased awareness & drove organic growth.My favourite achievements:✓ Quadrupled first-touch organic signups in 12 months✓ Re-developed and launched Postmark’s newsletter for 60k+ readers✓ Led the production of ~100 pieces including keyword-driven articles, technical tutorials, webcomics, video series, case studies, and even the occasional Spotify playlist

I started as the creator of most things Hotjar—if you read blog posts, guides, newsletters, product updates, ebooks, or landing pages in 2017 and 2018, chances are they were coming from me.I then went on to lead content production: I built and managed an editorial team of 15 freelancers, 1 full-time in-house writer, several agencies and VAs. Some of the work I’m proudest of:✓ Grew SEO traffic 10x from ~20k to ~200k/month✓ Grew first-touch sign-ups from 0 to ~1k/month✓ Developed and maintained our tone of voice, messaging, and brand style guidelines...✓ ...and nicely but firmly rejected pitches and drafts that did not align with our editorial mission 😉

The best marketers and brand managers have solid processes in place to understand their audience. I didn’t, so I took a temporary break from marketing and went on a user research deep-dive. I spent 100+ hours moderating user research sessions in a lab, then I paired that with qualitative + quantitative analysis (remote user testing, surveys, VoC, heatmaps, session recordings, A/B testing) to understand what was happening on my clients’ websites—and how to optimise them for growth.

I led content and UX projects for international brands including Prada, Piaggio, Smeg, Barilla, Rajapack, and Danone.
