Client Service Analyst
Working for the investment consultancy business at JANA Investment Advisers, I experienced the end-to-end process of analysing and managing portfolio performance, and reporting for our institutional investors (superannuation, foundations, charities). These additional responsibilities included quality checking of client performance data for reporting purposes, assisting with Fund Asset Class reviews by providing portfolio performance data, attending Asset Allocation meetings and Polytechnique sessions, and acting as a Portfolio Construction Coordinator producing agendas and Meeting Minutes.Achievements included various system enhancements, which created value by improving efficiencies for the Client Services Team, such as:- An audit trail of client and fund manager data changes in the Investment Management System, which has allowed for efficiencies related to data queries and who within the Client Services team would be best to respond to the queries;- Exporting of fund manager performance tables and charts in bulk rather than individually from our Investment Management System, which in turn resulted in time and productivity efficiencies.
Project Administrator
Experience and knowledge of the investment platform operations at MLC resulted in an opportunity to gain project management experience, where I was part of a team responsible for the migration of assets from MasterKey Custom platform to Navigator platform. The ability to analyse the MasterKey Custom assets was vital, because I had to identifying fund managers and registries where Navigator has no existing accounts, and complete Fund Manager application forms for the MasterKey Custom assets to be added to the Navigator Platform, and ensure the successful migration of assets. Another important element of managing the project was communicating with stakeholders (fund managers, custodians) to confirm existing MasterKey Custom account numbers. An achievement during this time was setting up of over 200 new Navigator accounts within two months.
