Roles and responsibilities include:- Responsible for the performance of all portfolios across Martin Currie Australia including: * Reviewing the performance returns on a daily basis to quickly resolve any issues * Review month end performance returns and obtaining Portfolio Manager approval for monthly returns * Calculating custom index returns on a monthly basis for bespoke client reports * Providing custom attribution reports for clients * Providing Factor Attribution analysis on a monthly basis using the Barra Portfolio Manager (BPM) system * Providing Risk Analysis (eg: Factor Exposures, Ex-Ante Tracking Error) for the portfolios to ensure compliance with mandates * Calculating the Alpha added/lost by each Investment Analyst * Maintaining the Ex-Post Risk Statistics spreadsheet- Responsible for the compliance of Martin Currie Australia to the GIPS Standards including: * Chair of the GIPS Committee * Completing the annual GIPS Audit * Updating the GIPS Policy with any changes in the GIPS Standards- Ad-hoc Requests including: * Providing non-standard performance & attribution reports for client meetings * Managing the implementation of a new portfolio into Northern Trust, including loading historical positions, transactions, corporate actions & dividends * Assisting the Portfolio Managers to understand their performance & attribution returns prior to client meetings

Roles and responsibilities include:- Running the monthly internal Performance & Attribution report pack- Updating the Client Reporting Packs with Performance & Attribution returns- Updating the Presentations & Marketing materials with the updated Performance & Attribution returns- Complete Request for Proposal's (RFP's) as required- Completing ad-hoc requests such as: * Custom Performance/Attribution reports eg: Market Cap or ESG Ratings. * Portfolio Liquidity Analysis * Building the Portfolio Characteristics report- Maintain the historical Portfolio Risk spreadsheet- Assist with the completion of the GIPS Audit requests- Work Process improvements including: * Creating and improving excel macros * Streamlining and automating data reports from external parties * Working with both internal & external parties to improve the data reports given to them- Responsible for maintaining the databases within both Bloomberg & Factset- Assist with Operations work such as: * Unit Price review for both daily & monthly priced funds * Daily review of trades and investigation of any trade discrepancies in a timely manner * Liaise with Brokers and/or Custodians to correct any failed trades in a timely manner * Reconciling the portfolio positions on a monthly basis
