Through the President's Public Service fellow, Fiona spent the summer at Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven, an adult literacy nonprofit organization.- Worked on a variety of curriculum projects that will be used to help the organization in the upcoming year. - Conducted outreach work but going into the community to talk to local businesses and non-profits.- Collaborated with staff to work on projects.

- Worked as a summer intern for the organization. - Drafted a variety of training material for the organization.

Completed an eight-week training program and successfully passed a final exam on various topics including small claims law, wage law, and more. Assisted on the leadership board (training team) to create materials that were used for weekly meetings.

Currently a project leader for the Connecticut Parent's Advocacy Center's Bill of Rights and Language Access project aimed to increase language access throughout Connecticut school districts.

Dedicated to providing the WLI community with weekly newsletters to promote upcoming events, create posters for events etc.

Created informative PowerPoints on careers for the Yale New Haven Hospital Institute for Excellence.Presented slideshows to colleagues and head of internship.
