I am the founder and director of the Menopause Research and Education Fund, a charity that aims to raise money to fund for independent research into topics that affect all those who go through menopause and their post menopausal health. Its second mission is to ensure health care professional and all those who need it have assess to good quality education and evidence-based information.I am also the founder of Harley Street Emporium - a website dedicated to myth busting in women's health in the media - as area awash with advertorial not editorial.Harley Street Emporium provides evidence-based information on menopause, skincare and treatments, plus providing access to some of the UK's best menopause doctors, plastic surgeons, dermatologists and aesthetic doctors.I have more than 25 years of experience as a journalist and have worked at a senior management level in all forms of media from TV, radio, proint and online. I have worked for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and a host of medical publishing companies including Australian Doctor and Medical Observer. I have been a regular columnist for Deutsche Welle writing on Russian politics and have written for The Lancet on the Russian health system.
