I have more than 14 years’ experience as an urban planning consultant, helping to shape the urban fabric of our city. During this time, I have helped to create high quality buildings and developments that bring communities together and create spaces for people to use and enjoy.My strengths are in project facilitation, preparation of development applications, planning scheme amendment documentation, land rezoning - delivering positive outcomes for a wide range of public and private sector clients. My key objective for clients is keeping the approval process streamlined by setting the right strategy upfront. I’m a strategic and solutions focused planner, able to work closely with clients and key stakeholders to get results. I can simplify planning processes, cutting through the complexity and communicating the facts in a clear and concise way. I am an expert in Melbourne CBD and inner-city growth and have been involved in the delivery of several high-quality commercial and residential planning approvals, helping to shape Melbourne’s skyline. These include 477 Collins Street, 224-252 La Trobe Street, QT Melbourne, 1 Queen Street, Eastbourne development, 600 Collins Street and 383 La Trobe Street. I also have a keen interest in refurbishment and revitalisation projects of existing buildings within the CBD and surrounds. In my career, working across metro and regional areas in Australia and New Zealand, I’ve also focused on planning approvals in the health and education sectors including the Epworth Geelong Teaching Hospital, revitalisation of Epworth Richmond and multiple independent school redevelopment projects. I’m an effective influencer with close relationships to key decision makers in state and local government and a natural collaborator who works closely with project team members. An internal leader in the Melbourne Urbis office, I enjoy mentoring young people and love helping them progress.
