The key responsibilities of my current role are:- Evaluate and decision existing and new credit applications in line with Policy Guidelines.- Establishing and maintaining direct relationships with relevant business areas on lending propositions in order to provide structured, consistent and tailored advice.- Understand and implement all internal and external policy and procedural requirements in all activities.- Assist in the implementation and training of new policies and guidelines in order to maintain the highest standards in professional credit management.- Adherence to agreed credit application response times while maintaining independence of credit approval.This role demonstrates a proven ability in the areas of Lending/Credit Analysis, Problem Solving, Credit Risk, Results Focus and People Management.

Commercial Banking/Credit Unit

Key Responsibilities included:- Responsibility for applications submitted to the Credit Unit from 18 branches within the Cork Central region- Ensuring that key principles of Credit Management were adhered to at all times- Engagement with key stakeholders in particular branch based Relationship Managers to ensure a high level of assessment and analysis undertaken on Credit proposals- Ensuring Service Level Agreements were adhered to- Supporting junior team members in their training requirements
