I am currently working with Dogs Trust Ireland as a full time Canine Carer, on a temporary contract. It is a very busy and dynamic role which I am thoroughly enjoying and want to continue. Duties include: Day to day duties such as feeding the dogs, cleaning the kennels and ensuring the block is clean at all times. Walking dogs during the day and providing enrichment and training when possible, to prepare them for rehoming Working as part of an excellent team in co-ordinating safe walking times etc Ensuring the dogs receive their medication every day and assist in bringing dogs to the vet suite, when possible Assisting with laundry for the centre Assisting other canine carers on block when possible Arriving for work on time and getting set up for the day Excellent communication to all staff members via radio to ensure the smooth running of the centre every day

Working with K9 Dog refuge in Tenerife, were I help to re-home dogs and take care of abandoned dogs. I work in the refuge itself and also am working with 3 newspapers on the island, writing articles each week for them. These help to raise more awareness for the refuge and also helps with dog adoptions. I take part in fundraisers for the refuge and help run the Facebook page also.
