This allowed us to run a series of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tests, and to create a culture of continuous improvement. During the initial phase of this project, I discovered an opportunity to improve the quality and visibility of the product analytics - which would allow the teams to run more effective CRO tests in future.

hyble (formerly MRM Global) is a high-growth scale-up marketing technology company, who offers B2B software solutions to global drinks brands and distributors across Europe, Australia and the United States.0-1 product development of a solution to intake design briefs and custom print requests; assign them to a design agency; then integrate with print partners for fulfilment – and overall, ensure that items are delivered in-line with contracted SLAs. The MVP delivery allowed the company to deliver their strategic objective to onboard the largest global drinks distributor in the US.Analysed data from user feedback, stakeholder feedback, order volumes, processing times, and product analytics to generate actionable insights. This led to multiple iterative improvements, increased customer satisfaction, less touchpoints for the internal teams, and shorter turnaround times for delivery.Improved ‘ways of working’ within the Product team by helping to define clear responsibilities for the PMs and UX designers, by reviewing existing communication methods and tools, and by creating a clear Product Roadmap in Productboard and regularly sharing it with the business. This led to more efficient problem discovery and solution delivery, as well as a greater awareness and respect of the Product team’s vision and objectives.Improved the ‘go to market’ strategy by collaborating with the Marketing team to understand what they need for a successful product feature launch, by writing documentation that could also be used by the Success and Support teams, and by taking feedback from the development teams to improve our own communication.

Built a team of 4 software engineers whose focus was to scale internal systems and processes in readiness for 10X growth. Under my leadership and mentorship, the junior team were empowered to collaborate directly with their stakeholders to build empathy and understanding. Collaborated with Senior Leadership, the CTO, and Operational teams to identify pain points and risks with the current systems and processes, then proposed process changes and technical solutions to support the company’s growth strategy.Created as-is and to-be process flows using Miro, created wireframes and designs for new apps and features using Figma, and crafted user stories using the INVEST framework. This attention to detail prompted valuable discussion when agreeing acceptance criteria with the developers and testers.

As the company’s first Product Owner, I launched new ‘ways of working’ by bringing Senior Leadership and the development teams closer together to create a collaborative Product Roadmap. This gave the development teams clarity around “why” their work was important, and transparency around what was coming next. Established a continuous feedback loop and prioritisation framework to gather user feedback and to measure the impact of potential solutions. This approach facilitated the rapid launch of a ‘contactless menu’ solution in response to the global pandemic. This digital solution was pivotal to the success of the company’s survival.Translated user feedback and market insights into actionable user stories with wireframes and clearly defined acceptance criteria, using Miro, Figma and Azure DevOps.

Collaborated with the Store Systems Manager, IT Director, and Development Manager to create a prioritised Product Roadmap.Collaborated with the Buying team to transform multiple manual processes into a feature-rich .NET app with integrations and automations – delivering time-savings of 20+ hours per week.

activHR (then rebranded as Youmanage) are a small and highly successful company who specialise in employee management software and professional services.Supported various UK clients with their HR, Payroll, Training and Recruitment software products by providing over-the-phone advice, on-site consultancy, and custom-made training courses.Provided technical expertise in pre-sales meetings with Board-level staff of prospective clients at SAMH, NHS, and RNIB.Migrated NHS training departments from a disparate system to a custom-built system that allowed staff, trainers to effectively schedule and manage new courses and mandatory refreshers.Installed SQL server instances, as well as customised databases, for many UK clients - providing quick and secure access to their employee records.
