Horizon Youth Zone is a brand-new state-of-the-art facility being built in the heart of Grimsby, providing activities, support and a safe space for the local young people. With skilled youth workers at the forefront it’s going to create opportunities for years to come. Open 7 days a week, with an annual membership of £5/yr and just 50p a session it will be the place to go for anyone who is 8-19 (25 with additional needs). Working on various projects for Forum from the Humber Social Enterprise Accelerator programme to Poverty Truth Commission, Social Inclusion project to my current project of setting up a Mental Health Collaborative in Hull and East Riding. Work is very varied and consists of Business Needs Analysis, Action Planning and providing support to Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises. Also involved in researching and setting up Employee Management System and writing HR documents including Staff Handbook and policy/procedure documents. Some consultancy work for HR issues for other organisations too.
