Owner and Director of a number of nurseries in the Tameside area. My passion is supporting people and enabling opportunity. My successes have included being winner of Business of the Year 2013 in Stockport; recognised for adapting and developing business.I was also runner up in the North West for Outstanding Business Women of the Year 2015 along with a number of other awards for staff development during the last 5 years. I have achieved over 20 awards in total. I have owned, run, supported and overseen a number of businesses incorporating recruitment, 3 types of operational services, student support and development services and also financial payment solutions.I now own a small nursery group and enjoy time supporting charities and mentoring other small businesses.Social justice is high on my agenda as is Safeguarding children. I offer consultancy and mentor support to a number of small businesses across Greater Manchester to help find solutions to typical business issues.High growth is very much a key focus, not just for my businesses but for my people and community.Personal approach and dedication to finding the right service solutions are of high importance to me.I have extensive background in Childcare and Early Years Education and have lectured in the subject for over 11 years. I am also very active in strategic planning.I am a Skills Ambassador across Manchester, promoting skills training and Apprenticeships in the workplace. Business is a lifestyle for me; I thrive on innovation, challenge and change. Being happy is my key driver.My key values shine through all of my settings and we offer a real feel of ‘family’ for our children and every staff member.
