Act4Africa Uganda is a well established, award-winning non-governmental organisation working in Mayuge District, near Jinja. In the UK, Act4Africa is registered as a charity to support their work.
Our mission is to reduce poverty and we do this through our HEAL Strategy (Health, Education, Agriculture, and Livelihoods) with a strong focus on women and girls.
Reducing gender inequality is central to our work. In our experience, it provides the most fundamental obstacle to eradicating poverty.
