• Exploring the Youth Safety and Violence Prevention Strategy in depth and creating policies & projects to shape an inclusive community.

• Building capacity on human rights and exploring issues of that nature to create tangible change.

• Supervising all mentor/buddy pairs during sessions and fostering proper growth and progress in literacy.
• Working with at-risk, underprivileged ESL youth.
• Assisting in recruitment, interviewing applicants, and ensuring training is complete.

Working one-on-one with at-risk and underprivileged youth to improve literacy/numeracy skills over a period of time through speed drills, quizzes and tests, and engaging activities in a challenging curriculum.

Working with the Executive Director, Video Team Leads, and within the Communications Team as a videographer/editor to curate personalized films dedicated to showcasing the Learning Buddies programs, the mentors and mentees that achieve the organizations mission, and the staff who make it possible.

• In charge of spearheading, planning, and executing the socio-political S.M.I.L.E. campaigns (Student Representation, Mental Health, Indigenous (on hold), LGBTQ+, and Environmental).
• Managing all campaign departments and delegating tasks to each manager, coordinator, and member to carry out.
• Hiring, onboarding, and training members until their probationary period is complete.

• Overseeing the management of all School Chapter branches in British Columbia
• In charge of creating onboarding packages, curriculums, NDAs, School Chapter constitutions, etc.

• Conducted research on analytics for AI in the corporate world and at Teck through platforms such as Udemy.
• Investigated GenAI courses on Udemy and picked out top 5 out of thousands based on rating, duration, course audience, learning objective, etc.
• Created a mini-proposal for a GenAI Learning Path for 11k+ employees to benefit from.
• Planned for which topics to be covered in updated course catalogue (new courses, removing outdated ones, updating old ones).
• Added new courses to internal Teck servers and published a collection with them.

• Managing Strive’s Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts.
• Designing social media posts/stories, Strive packages (sponsorships, conferences handbook, etc.), and conference materials from scratch.
• Increased registration numbers by 80% (150 --> 270).
