An executive and entrepreneur with deep operational experience in transportation, homeland security and technology innovation, Mr. Jackson served in the Administrations of three U.S. Presidents, working at the White House and at three Cabinet Departments. He was Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (2005-2007) and Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (2001-2003). In the private sector, he has held executive positions (and/or Director appointments) with public corporations, privately-held businesses and for a trade association representing transportation interests. Since 2007, he has served for various periods as a Director at four companies operating under Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI) agreements with the U.S. government.
