Current• Manage all aspects of the Engineering and Technical Support Services contract for New Horizons Aeronautics at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. • Lead a team of 100+ talented engineers and technicians as they develop the next generation of flight and science research for NASA.• Develop proposals and pricing for multiple RFPs for FFP and T&M aspects of $250M multiple task order contract with NASA Armstrong.• Manage financials and work contract support staff to track monthly and quarterly contract financial performance• Identify and mitigate contract risks by facilitating discussions among the NHAero management committee, NASA contracts, NASA customers, and employees.• Mentor staff in providing continued high performance, building teams, and fostering a positive work culture.• Recruit and retain a highly technical workforce across multiple subcontractors and engineering disciplines.• Collaborate regularly with customer leadership, contracting officer, contracting officer representative, and contracting support staff to meet contractual requirements and further the NASA Armstrong mission.• Drive a culture of safety, technical excellence, and collaboration through improving processes, building relationships, and developing employees.• Develop monthly deliverables ensuring that NHAero is meeting technical contract requirements reflecting in multiple years of highly rated CPARS.• Knowledgeable of NASA customers and processes for Systems Engineering & Integration Support (510), Aerodynamics and Propulsion (520), Advanced Systems Development Engineering (540), Flight Instrumentation & Systems Integration Engineering (550), Aerostructures Research Engineering (560), Research Engineering Operation (570), Operations Engineering (430), Project Management Support (300), and Facilities Engineering Support (220); and how each branch contributes to the NASA AFRC Mission.
